ABOUT US

Hope Methodist Church is a part of the Chinese Methodist Church in Australia (CMCA). The church was planted by Immanuel Methodist Church in 2010. Under the leadership of Bishop Emeritus Reverend James Kwang and the Local Church Executive Committee (LCEC), a group of 40 brothers and sisters started Murdoch Preaching Point (MPP) at the Multi Faith Center in Murdoch University.

After 3 years, MPP was constituted as Hope Methodist Church (Hope MC) at the Annual Conference of CMCA in December 2012, with Reverend Allen Su as our first Pastor. We then moved to Corinthians Park Hall at Shelley for 6 months, then to our current place of worship at Lutheran Church in Parkwood. Since January 2017 we have been blessed to have Reverend Michael Ting and his family join and lead us in worshiping Christ.

Today our church consists of worshipers mainly from Malaysia and Singapore. We also have people from China, Iran, Korea and other countries. We hope to become an international church that is able to genuinely share God’s love and the gospel with other nationalities.
